American Legion Perry Post 697, with the assistance of the students from the Perry Service Learning Class, removed the flags from the graves of the Veterans buried in the two Perry Cemeteries on Friday, September 10th. Families and friends of Veterans are welcome to fly a flag from the Veteran’s flag-holder at any time. The American Legion will return to the cemetery in May 2022 to ensure the American Flag is flying over all Veteran graves during the Summer of 2022.
