Starting 5/15/2024, the Fairport Harbor Coast Guard Station Moved to a flex 40 hour work week. The hours worked during the week and weekend will be determined by events and busy hours.
In the event that Fairport Harbor Coast Guard is unavailable and the Coast Guard is needed, you can request closest Coast Guard available. They will likely come out of Cleveland (1 hour ETA) or Buffalo (1.5 hour ETA). This ETA is dependent on weather.
The Coast Guard has stated that the majority of the calls they receive is for disabled watercraft.
