Located just inside the gate to North Perry Village Townline Park, the Veteran’s Memorial is set into the hillside overlooking the park and Lake Erie. Complete with a brick wall containing emblems of all military branches of the United States of America and two granite benches, the floor is made of engraved bricks for all veterans residing in or who have resided in North Perry Village. The memorial dedicated on July 4, 2012 currently contains over 100 engraved bricks including one from the Revolutionary War and two from the Civil War. Bricks contain the veteran’s name, rate/rank, branch of service and inclusive years served. Applications are available at the North Perry Village clerk’s office. We require a copy of the veteran’s DD-214 and proof of residence. Brick and engraving are provided by North Perry Village.
